Maintain change through connection, repair and responsibility.

Choice and boundaries • Reflection without blame or shame • Small repeated actions • Repair without further harm.

Where this programme fits
Education first
Safety & boundaries
Breaking Past Patterns is for services and organisations who want to offer a structured, trauma-informed group programme that helps participants understand and change harmful patterns.
This is trauma-informed education for non-clinical practitioners. It does not replace therapy or specialist clinical work.
Practitioners are clear on their role, the limits of their responsibility and how to signpost when participants need more support.
